These handmade elf leaf hair clips/hairpins are made of 2mm vegetable tanned leather, the hairpin is made of wood.
These cute Lorien-inspired Elvish Leaf Hair Pins are sure to delight any fantasy fan.
These lovingly handcrafted hairpins will add a touch of Lord of the Rings to your hairstyle.
Each individual sheet is dyed by hand.
So it’s not a mass product, but each piece is unique.
You can wear these in your hair in different ways.
If you have thick or curly hair or dreadlocks, you can simply slide the stick through your hair to hold a style in place.
Alternatively, if you have thinner or straight hair, you can first secure your hairstyle with a barrette or headband and then wear the barrette over it!
The hairpin can also be worn as a shawl pin. A beautiful accessory.

Dimensions approx.: 15cm x 13.5cm, needle 18cm long.

All items are handmade by me in my small art studio.
All seams are sewn by hand with a sturdy saddle stitch.
Natural leather that is dyed is hand-dyed using various processes. Therefore, no two pieces will be exactly alike.
·*~•✦•••❖ COLORS & FINISH ❖•••••✦•~*·
I only use water-based paints. These paints can be combined by hand to create new shades, giving me a wide range of different colors.
Each dyed leather receives at least a double application of finish.
The first treatment with high-quality leather care products is applied before shipping.
·*~•✦•••❖ THE NATURE OF HANDMADE ❖•••••✦•~*·
Although I strive to make as close to the product photo as possible, no two pieces will be exactly alike.
Leather is a natural material, and you can expect color and grain variations, discoloration, or other slight imperfections. These markings add beauty to the leather, serve as proof of its authenticity, and make each piece unique.
·*~•✦•••❖ LEATHER ❖•••••✦•~*·
I mainly use vegetable tanned leather, that is, leather tanned with plant extracts (e.g. oak bark, chestnut trees, mimosa...) through a slow and environmentally friendly process.
This leather is not tanned to make it waterproof, which allows it to be worked with water to shape, dye and customize it.
Therefore, it's important to care for your item to give the leather the nutrients it needs. Over time, this will result in a beautiful aging process (patina). The leather will develop a patina and darken slightly over time, which is a normal process.
