Rindsleder / Sattlerleder ist rein vegetabil gegerbt. Das Rindsleder ist dadurch färbbar und lässt sich somit ganz nach deinen individuellen Wünschen gestalten.

This lovingly handcrafted leather bookmark will accompany you through a life full of literary adventures.
Also perfect as a gift for bookworms.
Uniquely handcrafted, the leather leaf is securely riveted to soft and supple recycled leather that fits perfectly between the pages of your favorite book.
The blade itself is made of vegetable tanned leather and each individual blade is lovingly hand-dyed.
In this collection I work with leather that is left over from major leather processing and "rescue" it from disposal,
hence the reading volume will vary here.

All products are handmade with love in our studio.

I only use water based paints. These colors can be combined by hand into new shades, so I get a large selection of different shades.
Every dyed leather gets at least a double applied finish.
The first care with high-quality leather care products is already applied before shipping.
·*~•✦•••❖ THE NATURE OF HANDCRAFT ❖•••••✦•~*·
While I endeavor to make as close to the product photo as possible, no two pieces will be exactly alike.
Leather is a natural material and you can expect variations in color and grain, discoloration or other slight imperfections. These marks add beauty to the leather, serve as proof of its authenticity and give each piece its UNIQUENESS.

I mainly use vegetable tanned leather, ie leather tanned with plant extracts (e.g. oak bark, chestnut trees, mimosa...) through a slow and eco-friendly process.
This leather is not waterproofed by tanning, which allows it to be worked with water to shape, dye and customize it.
That's why it's important to care for your item to give the leather the nutrients it needs. Over time, this results in a beautiful aging process (patina). The leather will patinate and darken slightly over time, which is a normal process.
